In April, Chang Type was established by Mr. Lai Ching
Liu and Mr. Andy Chang with initial capital of NTD20
Million. Major products were motors variable speed control
card and IC control board.
In September, Feng Yuan #1 factory was built.
Chang Type signed Manufacture Agreement with Emerson.

Chang Type began to produce scroll saw, band saw and
vacuum, exported to America, Japan, Canada and HK.

In June, Chang Type purchase a land and Buildings in
Ho Li County to expand capacity.

Ministry of Economic Affairs, for Excellence in Product
Export Performance
A new lot of land closed to the Ho Li was purchased.
With the previous acquired land and buildings, a new
plant was outlined.
Capital was increased to NTD302 millions. Company financial
and business information was formally released to the
capital market.
Chang Type signed manufacturing contract with global
No. 1 power tool manufacturer Black and Decker to OEM/ODM
series of wood working power tools under the brand name

Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry
of Economic Affairs awarded Chang Type, for excellence
in performance.
Chang Type received the production approval from Black
and Decker to produce its first tier products ?Dewalt.

Ho Li plant was started construction and the plant
was finished on December.
Corporate stocks were listed in Emerging Market of
Taiwan OTC.
